L’Opera – 35 years of history

Since 1986

A group of young university students plans the realization of n. 2 OB VAN, the trucks must be ready by 1990, the year in which the Football World Cup would take place in Italy.

1989

Thanks to the collaboration with Euphon, a FIAT group company, the two OB VAN are built and delivered.

1992

Mediaset wins the rights of Formula One and entrusts to Opera BVS the filming for 5 years of European integrations. It will be the beginning of a job that, with Salerno Corse first and with Aci Sport later, will forever influence the company's history.

1993

It marks the beginning of Pay-TV and the purchase of TV rights from the Football League. Opera BVS is involved to the technical realization of the Football games of Serie A .

2010

The transition from analogue to digital television requires important technological choices to meet the needs of the new HD TV channels. Opera BVS invests in the construction of 3 HD OB Vans with which it will film entire championships to be broadcast on the new HD Channels.

Today

La crescente richiesta di produzioni in Ultra HD 4K viene affrontata da L’Opera con la realizzazione dell’ OB7, un bilico con tripla espansione che oltre a consentire la realizzazione e la trasmissione in standard 4K UHD - HDR, permette anche la realizzazione di una seconda produzione video/audio in 4K UHD-HDR in contemporanea alla prima.
