Cresce l’industria audiovisiva in Italia ma cala il valore, al “MAF 2024” presentata la ricerca ANIBA sul settore del broadcast Tv
Cresce l’industria del settore audiovisivo in Italia, ma cala il valore medio della produzione della maggior parte delle aziende. Secondo i dati del Registro Imprese, inclusi nella valutazione di impatto della Legge Cinema e Audiovisivo, al termine del 2021 risultavano infatti attive 45.289 aziende (con un aumento del +3,44% rispetto al 2019), per un totale di 314.510 addetti (+7,44%) e 292.356 dipendenti (+8,36%).
Tuttavia, a fronte di questi segni positivi, secondo i dati ISTAT e OECD in Italia dal 2008 al 2021, il valore medio della produzione è sceso del 30% e il margine operativo lordo del 35%, mentre è cresciuto in Spagna, Francia, Germania e Inghilterra. Sono questi alcuni dei dati contenuti nella ricerca “Il ruolo delle aziende di service nell’industria italiana dell’audiovisivo”, realizzata da Formules per conto dell’Associazione Nazionale Imprese Broadcast Audiovisivo (ANIBA), che per la prima volta analizza il ruolo e il contesto economico, finanziario e formativo di questo fondamentale player del settore.
La ricerca sarà presentata durante “MAF – Milano Audiovisual Forum”, seconda edizione dell’unico evento in Italia dedicato alla filiera dell’audiovideo e del broadcasting, che è organizzato da Pentastudio in collaborazione con HD Forum Italia (HDFI) e si svolgerà il 29 e 30 ottobre presso il Centro congressi Stella Polare di Fiera Milano Rho.
Secondo lo studio ANIBA, l’analisi dei valori medi degli indici delle 2.094 imprese italiane operanti nella produzione e post-produzione cine-audiovisiva rivela due dati particolarmente significativi: nel 2022 la redditività delle vendite è calata del 11,08%, mentre il rapporto tra ammortamenti e ricavi dalle vendite è salito al 40,15%, due dati che la dicono lunga sull’impatto che l’iperframmentazione del settore sta avendo sui bilanci delle imprese, laddove il settore dei service esprime in misura ancora più marcata questa situazione.
L’analisi dei bilanci delle 41 società di service più importanti rivela infatti che, a fronte di fatturati stabili o in crescita, la marginalità è calata, con risultati d’esercizio talvolta negativi. Le PMI italiane di service attive nel settore dell’audiovisivo possiedono tecnologie, risorse umane e competenze che le portano ad operare con successo nei mercati internazionali, ma patiscono in misura crescente le distorsioni del mercato interno.
“Questo settore è l’ultimo anello della catena del valore della produzione audiovisiva, ma rimane fondamentale per la qualità del prodotto e la soddisfazione dei consumatori, in un mercato che registra gradi crescenti di concentrazione settoriale, sofisticazione tecnologica e internazionalizzazione dei player”, spiega Guido Guerzoni, professore dell’Università Bocconi e amministratore delegato di Formules. “Purtroppo in Italia anni di gare al massimo ribasso, deregulation contrattuale e contributi regionali erogati con criteri difformi sul territorio nazionale hanno determinato una situazione critica, acuita dalle difficoltà incontrate nella formazione del personale tecnico”.
“Alla luce dei dati emersi, ANIBA ribadisce con maggior forza la necessità di riportare al centro del dibattito il tema della sostenibilità economica, sociale ed ambientale della filiera”, sottolinea Bruno Mercuri, presidente ANIBA. “Regole e valori comuni devono essere messi a sistema per garantire il riconoscimento del giusto valore del servizio e del lavoro e anche la competitività del settore nel medio lungo periodo. Per questo invitiamo tutti i soggetti del mercato a sedersi al tavolo e a ragionare su quale futuro si vorrà dare, tutti assieme, all’industria del broadcast tv in Italia”.
Il programma di “MAF 2024” prevede lavori in plenaria con ospiti d’eccezione che si confronteranno su tematiche di grande attualità, tra le quali spiccano le nuove forme di advertising e la lotta alla pirateria, ma anche la valorizzazione del patrimonio audiovisivo e il racconto dei grandi eventi sportivi, sempre più driver del sistema audiovisivo e televisivo. Sul fronte della produzione, protagonisti saranno l’intelligenza artificiale e gli studi virtuali.
Sempre in plenaria, si svolgerà poi la “HD Forum Conference 2024”, la conferenza annuale della principale associazione di filiera nel campo delle tecnologie per il broadcasting. Previste anche alcune masterclass tematiche, con sessioni di formazione su temi tecnici organizzate da esperti e aziende leader nel settore audiovisivo.
Non meno importante sarà l’attività di networking, con un’“Area B2B”, dedicata agli incontri bilaterali tra aziende e professionisti facilitati da un software di matching, ed un’“Area Demo” con uno spazio espositivo dove sarà possibile esplorare e testare le ultime soluzioni e tecnologie del settore audiovisivo.
Ai lavori parteciperanno organizzazioni e aziende specializzati nel media broadcasting e nella produzione video, produttori e sviluppatori di hardware e software per la produzione, trasmissione e fruizione di contenuti audiovisivi, operatori delle telecomunicazioni e manager nei settori IT (Information Technology), OTT (Over The Top) e advertising.
